- Recall.ai has raised our Series B to continue building the infrastructure layer for meeting recording.
- This raise follows the recent launch of our Desktop Recording SDK - the most reliable way to capture meeting data without bots.
The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from HubSpot Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Ridge Ventures, YCombinator, RTP Ventures, as well as notable angels including Paul Graham, founder of YCombinator, Solomon Hykes, founder of Docker, Michael Siebel, founder of Twitch.tv, and Eoghan McCabe, founder of Intercom.
Recall.ai Helps AI Products Access the World’s Largest Dataset
We are in an AI gold rush. Software in every industry is being rebuilt with AI at its core, to get rid of repetitive work and automate data entry.
But to automate the boring work that humans currently do, AI needs to have the same context that the humans currently have.

Introducing the Desktop Recording SDK
While our Meeting Bot API powers most conversational intelligence tools today, some products want to tap into conversation data without a bot joining the meeting.
That’s why we built the Desktop Recording SDK. It enables local call capture, making it easy to:
- Record meetings directly from a user’s device (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and even in-person)
- Capture speaker names, participant events, real-time video, and other rich metadata.
- Reliably upload and process recordings, even from an unstable or high-latency internet connection
All possible without a bot joining the meeting.

What’s Next
With this new round of funding, we’re investing in three major areas:
- Product: We’re building APIs and SDKs to capture any conversation, not just video conferences. We're building a Mobile SDK to help you record in-person meetings, phone calls, and more. We’re also building out APIs to store, analyze, and query the data you capture.
- Go-To-Market: If you’re a startup, we’ve launched our self-serve flow, so you can try Recall.ai for free today! If you’re a larger organization, we’d love to walk you through a customized demo. Security and compliance are built into the product, such as zero-day retention options, data residency options, recording consent features, SSO, and more. We are SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR and CCPA certified.
- Team: We’re hiring in-person, 5 days a week, in San Francisco, across every role — sales, marketing, engineering, product, and everything else. We’re moving to a new office this fall that’s five time larger.
