Can I try Recall.ai for free?
Yes! When you sign up on the Pay As You Go plan, your first 5 hours of recording are free.
Does the number of participants in a meeting affect billing?
No. It doesn't matter how many participants there are in a meeting. The only thing we charge on is how long the meeting is.
For example, a 1 hour meeting with 10 participants is billed at the same rate as a 1 hour meeting with 1 participant.
How does pricing work with the Meeting Bot API vs Desktop Recording SDK?
The
Meeting Bot API and
Desktop Recording SDK are different form factors to record meetings. The price of using them is the same. That means on the Pay As You Go plan, 1 hour of recording with the Meeting Bot API and 1 hour of recording with the Desktop Recording SDK are both $0.70.
Is pricing prorated if a recording is not a full hour long?
Yes! We prorate billing to the second. For example, if you have a 30 minute meeting on the Pay As You Go plan, you are only charged $0.35, instead of $0.70.
How do you calculate the length of time a bot is recording?
